In 1995 in Southern California, our CEO JoAnn Katinos assembled a team of blue-collar professionals to create a customer-centric contracting company. The team branded as AAA Electrical & Communications and began to service properties in the greater Los Angeles area. Over two decades later, AAA Companies, now certified by WBENC, contracts with facility owners, property management firms, and a variety of organizations and institutions across the United States to provide anything, anywhere, anytime for the construction and maintenance of the physical environments in which we all work, relax, and live.
As we began completing electrical, lighting, and data projects, we identified client needs in other areas. As a result, a national commercial real estate company requested we submit bids for handyman services and tenant improvement projects. Soon, we expanded our suite of services to include day porter and janitorial work and, a couple of years later, rebranded as AAA Property Services.
Our pride in responding to our clients' requests as they were submitted soared. But, we wondered, what if we could solve our clients' problem before they knew they had them? Thus, we introduced our "Value Added Services." We earned our Backflow Certification in order to directly provide annual testing. To supplement our ADA expertise, we became a Certified Access Specialist (CASp), ensuring that client facilities meet all state and federal accessibility laws, codes, and regulations. Similarly, we began Title 24 inspections. Led by one of California's first state certified instructors of the California Advanced Lighting Controls Training Program (CALCTP), our Title 24 Compliance Division provides guidance and advice in regards to governmental lighting requirements. Our proactive solutions spurred a national presence, prompting us to rebrand again, this time to AAA Companies.
"I can sleep at night knowing AAA is always there for me."
Any downtime for a client is unacceptable to us. To optimize our response time, we handle all after-hours answering in-house with an infrastructure to guarantee a two hour response time to emergency calls--24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
